Fortress Hill
Fortress Hill is a hill and an area on the north shore of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is the namesake of Fortress Hill Holdings.[1] Fortress Hill includes the western part of North Point lying west of Oil Street, and the eastern part of Causeway Bay. There are a number of private residential estates, office buildings, hotels and serviced apartments in this area.

The first stop we are going to introduce is Fortress Hill. We will present this artwork around the street corner: two knitted dolls that hold their hands. They are like the little monsters that we can see in cartoons and would make people smile. However, we found that only less than 10 people had noticed the pair in 30 minutes. The reason was those pedestrians only focused on their smartphones and did not have chance to see the two little monsters.
These colorful knitted works are called “graffiti knitting”, artists would use yarn to create different decorations and make the streets vibrant. “Graffiti knitting” also encourages people to slow down and appreciate our city. Tomorrow will be the start of Easter holiday, just let go of your digital devices and walk around Hong Kong! You cannot only find this wonderful work we introduced in Fortress Hill, but also a lot of interesting small shops in the area. We are sure that you will have an awesome time while exploring this community.
